The 500-100000 Venezuelan bolivar fuerte set is composed of all the seven bolivar fuerte banknotes with denominations that the Banco de Venezuela issued due to hyperinflation before eventually revaluing and renaming the bolivar from bolivar fuerte to bolivar soberano. All seven banknotes obverse sides are vertically oriented and feature a prominent historical figure while their reverse sides are horizontally oriented and feature an endemic species in its natural habitat and a national reservation park. All the notes measure 156 mm long and 69 mm wide. These notes have different security threads. Generally the notes watermarks are the featured person and electrotype watermarks of the denomination. However the 2000 bolivar fuerte banknote has watermark varieties with earlier notes having the watermark of Cacique Guaicaipuro and an electrotype watermark 2000 and later notes having a watermark of Simon Bolivar and an electrotype watermark BCV.
